Read pp. 240-244 in your text
Integrated Pest Management - the practice of using the least "harmful" method of eliminating pests first, then trying successively more risky methods. These methods may include:
beneficial predators - ladybugs, beneficial nematodes
companion planting - onions and garlics, marigolds
natural discouragers - pyrethrins from chrysanthemums, copper and sulfur for anti-fungals, citronella plants, eating garlic or vitamin B-complex
naturally baited traps - wasp traps
insect pheremones - japanese beetle traps
chemical pesticides - Raid, flea foggers, Terminex!
Find out what each of these does!
